“Jardin de la Grosse Pierre” Grand cru

The newest addition to Benoît’s line-up and perhaps the most interesting. Produced from a single vineyard parcel that was originally planted by his great grandfather in 1923, along with some replanting done in 1952 by his grandfather. A singularly unique field blend for Champagne consisting of 9 known varietals and number of unknown, with a handful of varietals that are no longer authorized in the region. The first bottling of this field blend cuvée was in 2009, all from a single years harvest.
